Surah Ghafir 40:58

ﲯ ﲰ ﲱ ﲲ ﲳ ﲴ ﲵ ﲶ ﲷ ﲸ ﲹ ﲺ ﲻ ﲼ

And not equal are the blind and the seeing, nor are those who believe and do righteous deeds and the evildoer. Little do you remember.

"And the blind and the seeing are not equal..."

The blind and the seeing are used as a parable for the doer of good and the doer of evil.

It is recited as yatadhakkarūn (they remember) with both the yā’ (third person) and the tā’ (second person), though the tā’ is more general in its application.


"Indeed, the Hour is coming; there is no doubt about it, but most of the people do not believe."
