Ash-Shura: 16

{And those who argue concerning Allah} They dispute regarding His religion.

{After} People have responded to Him and entered into Islam, seeking to turn them back to the religion of Ignorance (Jahiliyyah). This is like the Almighty’s saying: "Many of the People of the Scripture wish they could turn you back to disbelief after you have believed" (Al-Baqarah: 109).

The Jews and Christians used to say to the believers: "Our book is before your book, our prophet is before your prophet, and we are better than you and more entitled to the truth."

It is also said: "After Allah responded to His Messenger, granted him victory on the day of Badr, and manifested the religion of Islam."

{Dahidah} False and vanishing.

{Allah is the one who sent down the Book in truth and the Balance. And what will make you perceive? Perhaps the Hour is near. Those who do not believe in it seek to hasten it, but those who have believed are fearful of it and know that it is the truth. Unquestionably, those who dispute concerning the Hour are in extreme error.}
