Verse range: 42:41
{بعد ظلمه} This is an instance of the verbal noun (masdar) being attributed to the object (maf'ul). This is clarified by the reading of those who recited: ba'da ma zulimu (after they were wronged).
{فأولئك} This is a reference to the meaning of man (whoever), rather than its literal wording.
{ما عليهم من سبيل} There is no path [of blame or punishment] for the one who retaliates, nor for the one who reproaches or finds fault.
{إنما السبيل على الذين يظلمون الناس} Those who initiate the wrongdoing.
{ويبغون في الأرض} They act arrogantly therein, behave haughtily, and spread corruption.
{ولمن صبر وغفر إن ذلك لمن عزم الأمور} [And whoever is patient and forgives—indeed, that is of the matters [worthy] of determination.]
