Verse range: 42:47
{From Allah} "From" is connected to "no repeller," meaning: Allah will not repel it once He has decreed it. Or, it is connected to "comes," meaning: before there comes from Allah a day that no one will be able to repel.
{And no denial} Meaning: You have no escape from the punishment, nor are you able to deny anything of what you have committed and what has been recorded in the scrolls of your deeds.
{But if they turn away, then We have not sent you, [O Muhammad], over them as a guardian; upon you is only [the duty of] notification. And indeed, when We let man taste mercy from Us, he exults in it; but if evil afflicts them for what their hands have put forth, then indeed, man is ungrateful.}
