Tafsir of Ad-Dukhan 44:58-59

{فَإِنَّمَا يَسَّرْنَاهُ بِلِسَانِكَ} This is a summary (fadhla) of the Surah. Its meaning is: Remind them with the Clear Book.

{فَإِنَّمَا يَسَّرْنَاهُ} Meaning: We have made it easy, as We revealed it in Arabic, in your tongue, intending for your people to understand it so that they may take heed.

{فَارْتَقِبْ} Meaning: Wait for what will befall them.

{إِنَّهُم مُّرْتَقِبُونَ} Meaning: They are waiting for what will befall you, anticipating your downfall.

From the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ):

(1019) "Whoever recites Surah Ha-Mim Ad-Dukhan in a night, he will wake up with seventy thousand angels seeking forgiveness for him."

And from him (peace be upon him):

(1020) "Whoever recites the Surah of Ha-Mim in which Ad-Dukhan is mentioned on the night of Jumu'ah, he will wake up forgiven."
