Tafsir
Verse range: 47:14
"Is he to whom the evil of his deed has been made attractive": They are the people of Mecca, for whom Satan made their polytheism and their enmity toward God and His Messenger attractive.
"And he who is upon clear evidence from his Lord": That is, upon a proof and demonstration from Him—which is the miraculous Qur’an and all other miracles—is the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace. It is also recited: (Amman kana 'ala bayyinatin min rabbihi).
God Almighty said: "the evil of his deed and followed"—this is a grammatical construction based on both the wording of man (he who) and its meaning.
