Surah Al-Hujurat 49:16
ﲰ ﲱ ﲲ ﲳ ﲴ ﲵ ﲶ ﲷ ﲸ ﲹ ﲺ ﲻ ﲼ ﲽ ﲾ ﲿ ﳀ
Say, "Would you acquaint Allah with your religion while Allah knows whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth, and Allah is Knowing of all things?"

Al-Hujurat: 16
"Say, 'Would you acquaint Allah with your religion?'"
It is said: "I did not ta‘lam (know/perceive) of your arrival," meaning: I did not sense it, nor did I encompass it. From this is His saying—Exalted is He—: {A-tu‘allimuna Allaha bi-dinikum} ("Would you acquaint Allah with your religion?"). In this is an attribution of ignorance to them.
Al-Hujurat: 17–18
"They consider it a favor to you that they have accepted Islam. Say, 'Do not consider your Islam a favor to me. Rather, Allah has conferred favor upon you that He has guided you to the faith, if you should be truthful. Indeed, Allah knows the unseen of the heavens and the earth. And Allah is Seeing of what you do.'"
