Surah Al-Ma'idah 5:99
ﲀ ﲁ ﲂ ﲃ ﲄ ﲅ ﲆ ﲇ ﲈ ﲉ ﲊ ﲋ
Not upon the Messenger is [responsibility] except [for] notification. And Allah knows whatever you reveal and whatever you conceal.

This is an emphasis on the obligation to carry out what he was commanded to do. The Messenger has fulfilled what was incumbent upon him regarding the delivery of the message, and the proof has been established against you, and obedience has become binding upon you. Therefore, you have no excuse for negligence.
