{ وَلَهُ الْجَوَارِ الْمُنشَآتُ }

{ الْجَوَارِ }: The ships. It is also recited as al-jawār (with the yāʾ dropped and the rāʾ in the nominative case), similar to the verse: “It has four beautiful front teeth, and four more, making eight in total.”

{ الْمُنشَآتُ }: Those that are raised (with sails). It is also recited with a kasra under the shīn (al-munshiʾāt), meaning those that raise their sails, or those that create waves by their movement.

{ كَالْأَعْلَامِ }: The plural of ʿalam, which is a tall mountain.

{ كُلُّ مَنْ عَلَيْهَا فَانٍ * وَيَبْقَىٰ وَجْهُ رَبِّكَ ذُو الْجَلَالِ وَالْإِكْرَامِ * فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ }
