Al-Hadid: (9)

{He is the One who sends down...}

{To bring you out}—God, by His signs, from the darkness of disbelief into the light of faith. Or, [it means] to bring you out—the Messenger, by his call.

{He is Most Kind}—and it is read: ra’ūf (with a hamza).

{And why is it that you do not spend in the way of God, while to God belongs the inheritance of the heavens and the earth? Not equal among you are those who spent before the conquest and fought. Those are greater in degree than those who spent after and fought. And to all, God has promised the best [reward]. And God is Acquainted with what you do. Who is it that would loan God a goodly loan so He will multiply it for him and he will have a noble reward?}**
