Al-Hashr: 10

{And those who came after them} This is also a conjunction linked to "the Emigrants" (al-Muhajirin). They are those who migrated after them. It is also said: they are the followers (al-Tabi'un) who followed them in righteousness.

{Ghillan} It is also read as "Ghamran." Both words mean rancor/hatred.

Al-Hashr: 11-12

{Have you not seen those who practiced hypocrisy, saying to their brothers who disbelieved among the People of the Scripture, "If you are expelled, we will surely leave with you, and we will not obey anyone in regard to you ever; and if you are fought, we will surely aid you." But Allah testifies that they are liars. If they are expelled, they will not leave with them, and if they are fought, they will not aid them. And if they should aid them, they will surely turn their backs; then they will not be aided.}
