Tafsir
Verse range: 6:110
"And We will turn their hearts and their eyes..."
{And We will turn their hearts and leave them} This is a conjunction linked to [the verb] "they will believe," falling under the scope of "And what will make you perceive?"
The meaning is: "And what will make you perceive that they will not believe?" and "What will make you perceive that We will turn their hearts and their eyes?"
Meaning: We will place a seal upon their hearts and their eyes, so they will neither understand nor perceive the truth, just as they were when Our signs were revealed. Or, they will not believe in them because their hearts have been sealed.
"And what will make you perceive that We will leave them in their transgression?" Meaning: We will abandon them to their own devices and not restrain them from their transgression, so that they may wander blindly within it.
It has been recited as: (Wa-yuqallibu wa-yadharuhum) with the ya (third person), meaning: Allah, the Almighty and Majestic.
Al-A‘mash recited: (Wa-tuqallabu af’idatuhum wa-abṣāruhum) in the passive voice.
{And even if We had sent down to them the angels, and the dead had spoken to them, and We had gathered together every thing before them, they would not have believed unless Allah should will. But most of them are ignorant.}
