Tafsir of Al-An'am 6:129

{وَكَذَٰلِكَ نُوَلِّي بَعْضَ الظَّالِمِينَ بَعْضًا} We shall leave them until some of them take charge of others, just as the devils and the misguided among humans have done. Or, it means We shall make some of them the allies and companions of others on the Day of Resurrection, just as they were in the worldly life.

{بِمَا كَانُوا يَكْسِبُونَ} Because of what they earned of disbelief and acts of disobedience.

{يَا مَعْشَرَ الْجِنِّ وَالْإِنسِ أَلَمْ يَأْتِكُمْ رُسُلٌ مِّنكُمْ يَقُصُّونَ عَلَيْكُمْ آيَاتِي وَيُنذِرُونَكُمْ لِقَاءَ يَوْمِكُمْ هَٰذَا ۚ قَالُوا شَهِدْنَا عَلَىٰ أَنفُسِنَا ۖ وَغَرَّتْهُمُ الْحَيَاةُ الدُّنْيَا وَشَهِدُوا عَلَىٰ أَنفُسِهِمْ أَنَّهُمْ كَانُوا كَافِرِينَ}
