Tafsir of Al-An'am 6:133-134

{And your Lord is the Self-Sufficient}—independent of His servants and their worship—{Possessor of Mercy}—He shows mercy to them through religious obligations, in order to expose them to everlasting benefits.

{If He wills, He can remove you}—O you disobedient ones—{and replace you with whatever He wills}—from among the obedient creation—{just as He brought you into being from the descendants of other people}—meaning from the children of other people who were not of your same character, namely the people of the Ark of Noah, peace be upon him.

{Say, "O my people, work according to your position; indeed, I am working. You will soon know to whom the [best] outcome of the home belongs. Indeed, the wrongdoers will not succeed."}
