Al-Aʿrāf: 206

{Indeed, those who are with your Lord} They are the angels—may the blessings of Allah be upon them. The meaning of "with" here is the proximity of status and closeness to the mercy and grace of Allah Almighty, due to their devotion to His obedience and their seeking of His pleasure.

{And they prostrate to Him} They single Him out for worship, associating no one else with Him. This is an allusion directed at those other than them among the accountable beings (mankind and jinn).

From the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ): "Whoever recites Surah al-Aʿrāf, Allah will place a veil between him and Iblis on the Day of Resurrection, and Adam will be an intercessor for him on the Day of Resurrection."
