Al-Aʿrāf: 29

{بالقسط} With justice, and with that which is established in the souls as being upright and good according to every discerning person. It is also said: with monotheism (Tawḥīd).

{وأقيموا وجوهكم} And say: "Direct your faces," meaning: intend His worship while being upright toward Him, not deviating to anyone else.

{عند كل مسجد} At every time of prostration, or in every place of prostration, which is the prayer (Ṣalāh).

{وادعوه} And call upon Him, meaning: worship Him.

{مخلصين له الدين} Meaning: obedience, seeking through it the Countenance of Allah, sincerely.

{كما بدأكم تعودون} Just as He originated you in the beginning, He will bring you back. He uses the origination of creation as an argument against their denial of the resurrection. The meaning is: He will bring you back and recompense you for your deeds, so make your worship sincere to Him.

Al-Aʿrāf: 30

{فريقا هدى وفريقا حق عليهم الضلالة إنهم اتخذوا الشياطين أولياء من دون الله ويحسبون أنهم مهتدون}

(A group He guided, and a group upon whom error has become incumbent. Indeed, they took the devils as allies instead of Allah, and they think that they are guided.)
