Tafsir
Verse range: 7:35
{إما يأتينكم} It is the conditional in (إن), to which the mā (ما) has been appended to emphasize the meaning of the condition.
For this reason, the heavy or light nūn (nūn al-tawkīd) is attached to its verb.
If you ask: What is the consequence (jazāʾ) of this condition? I say: The fāʾ (ف) and what follows it constitute the condition and the consequence. The meaning is: "Whoever among you fears [God] and does righteousness," and "those who denied among you."
It is also recited as taʾtiyannakum (تأتينكم) with a tāʾ (ت).
{فمن أظلم ممن افترى على الله كذبا أو كذب بأاياته أولائك ينالهم نصيبهم من الكتاب حتى إذا جآءتهم رسلنا يتوفونهم قالوا أين ما كنتم تدعون من دون الله قالوا ضلوا عنا وشهدوا على أنفسهم أنهم كانوا كافرين}
