Surah Al-Jinn 72:10
ﲥ ﲦ ﲧ ﲨ ﲩ ﲪ ﲫ ﲬ ﲭ ﲮ ﲯ ﲰ ﲱ
And we do not know [therefore] whether evil is intended for those on earth or whether their Lord intends for them a right course.

"And we do not know..."
They say: When this event occurred—the increase in stoning [with meteors] and the prevention of eavesdropping—we said:
"This is nothing but a matter that Allah has willed for the inhabitants of the earth, and it cannot be anything other than either evil or guidance."
Meaning: Good, whether it be punishment or mercy, or abandonment or success.
Al-Jinn: 11
"And among us are the righteous, and among us are [others] not so; we were [of] divided ways."
