What deeds continue benefiting a person after death?

When the son of Adam dies, his deeds cease except for three: ongoing charity (Sadaqa Jariyah), knowledge from which others benefit after him, or a righteous child who supplicates for him. Al-Tirmidhi classified this Hadith as Hasan Sahih (good and authentic).
