Introduction to the Book
Primary text
The consensus reached by the early prominent Imams established the foundations of Islam and clarified difficult rulings. Their agreement constitutes a definitive proof (*hujjah qati'ah*). Their differing opinions, however, are considered a broad mercy (*rahmah wasi'ah*). The hearts of the people are revived by their narrations, and happiness is achieved by following their footsteps.
