What rights do contracting parties have immediately after a sale?

Both parties in a sale have the option (al-khiyar) to revoke the transaction as long as they have not separated physically. This is confirmed by the Prophet, peace be upon him, saying: 'The two sellers have the option until they separate' (Muttafaq 'alayh).
