It is permissible to seek bounty from the Lord, even during the Hajj seasons. This is established by the Quranic revelation: 'There is no blame upon you for seeking bounty from your Lord' (Quran 2:198). This verse was revealed concerning the marketplace gatherings like Ukaz, Majannah, and Dhu al-Majaz when some Muslims felt hesitant to trade there after embracing Islam.
