What is the standing of merchants before Allah on the Day of Judgment?

Merchants will be resurrected on the Day of Judgment as sinners (fujjar), unless they are righteous and truthful. The Prophet, peace be upon him, warned the merchants, who responded by raising their necks and looking toward him, saying, 'Merchants will be resurrected as sinners, except those who are pious and truthful' (Hadith Hassan Sahih according to Tirmidhi). Furthermore, the truthful and trustworthy merchant will be with the Prophets, the Truthful, and the Martyrs (Hadith Hassan according to Tirmidhi).
