Hadith 29:2
Ibn ‘Ulayyah narrated to us, from Ayyub, from Thumamah ibn ‘Abd Allah, from Anas, who said: I came upon Thabit ibn Qays on the day of al-Yamamah while he was applying embalming perfume. I said, "O uncle, do you not see what the people have encountered?" He replied, "Now, O son of my brother."
حدثنا بن علية عن أيوب عن ثمامة بن عبد الله عن أنس قال أتيت على ثابت بن قيس يوم اليمامة وهو يتحنط فقلت أي عم ألا ترى ما لقي الناس فقال الآن يا بن أخي
