Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Jarir narrated to us, from Mansur, from al-Hakam, from Ali and Abdullah: They both said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) decreed the right of pre-emption (shuf'ah) for neighbors.
