Musnad Abu Ya'la al-Mawsili 149:2

Shayban ibn Farrukh narrated to us, Jarir narrated to us, Nafi’ narrated from a freedwoman of Fakiha ibn al-Mughira, from Aisha, who said: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) forbade the killing of the snakes that are in the houses, except for the one with two white lines (dhu al-tufyatayn) and the short-tailed one (al-batra’). For indeed, they both blind the eyesight and kill the children of pregnant women in their wombs. And whoever does not kill them is not of us.
