Musnad Anas ibn Malik (RA) What al-Hasan ibn Abi al-Hasan narrated from Anas ibn Malik (RA)
Hadith 112:2
Abu Ibrahim al-Turjumani narrated to us, Salih al-Murri narrated to us, he said: I heard al-Hasan narrating from Anas ibn Malik, from the Prophet (may Allah bless him and grant him peace), in what he narrates from his Lord, he said: "Four characteristics: one of them is for Me, one of them is for you, one of them is between Me and you, and one of them is between you and My servants. As for the one that is for Me: it is that you worship Me and do not associate anything with Me. As for the one that is for you upon Me: it is that whatever good you do, I will reward you for it. As for the one that is between Me and you: it is that from you is the supplication, and upon Me is the response. As for the one that is between you and My servants: it is that you desire for them what you desire for yourself."
