Musnad Abu Ya'la al-Mawsili 57:1

Shayban ibn Farrukh narrated to us, Sulayman ibn al-Mughirah narrated to us, Thabit narrated to us, from Anas: Mahmud ibn al-Rabi‘ narrated to me, from ‘Itban ibn Malik, who said: I came to Medina and met ‘Itban ibn Malik, and I said, "A hadith has reached me from you." He said, "Something afflicted my eyesight, so I sent to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), 'I would like for you to come to me and pray in my house so that I may take it as a place of prayer.'" He said, "The Prophet (ﷺ) came to me with whomever Allah willed of his companions. He entered upon me and he was praying in my house, while his companions were talking among themselves. Then they attributed the greatness and magnitude of that [matter] to Malik ibn al-Dukhshum. They wished that he [the Prophet] would invoke [evil] against him so that he would perish, or they wished that some illness would afflict him." "The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) finished the prayer and said, 'Does he not testify that there is no god but Allah and that I am the Messenger of Allah?' They said, 'He says that, but it is not in his heart.' He said, 'No one testifies that there is no god but Allah and that I am the Messenger of Allah, and then enters the Fire, or the Fire consumes him.'" He said, "This hadith pleased me, so I said to my son, 'Write it down,' and he wrote it down."
