Musnad Abu Ya'la al-Mawsili 57:2

Abu Khaythama narrated to us, Hashim ibn al-Qasim narrated to us, Sulayman ibn al-Mughira narrated to us, from Thabit, from Anas, from 'Itban ibn Malik, similar to it. And he added in it: "And his companions were talking among themselves and mentioning what they were encountering from the hypocrites. Then they attributed the greatest part of that to Malik ibn Dukhsham. They said: 'They wished that he [the Prophet] would supplicate against him,' and they were urging him toward that. Then the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, decided [the matter]." Then he mentioned something similar to it.
