Musnad Abu Ya'la al-Mawsili 57:3

Abu Hamza Hureym ibn ‘Abd al-A’la narrated to us, Mu’tamir ibn Sulayman narrated to us, from Sulayman ibn al-Mughirah, he said: Thabit narrated to us, from Anas, from Mahmud ibn al-Rabi’, from ‘Itban ibn Malik, who said: I met ‘Itban after that, and he narrated to me a hadith that pleased me, so I said to my son, "Write it down," and he wrote it down. He said: His eyesight had gone. He said: I said, "O Prophet of Allah, if you would come to me and pray in my house in a place I would designate as a mosque." He said: So the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) came, and he began to pray, and his companions began to talk. He said: They mentioned the harm they were receiving from the hypocrites, and they attributed the greatest part of that to Malik ibn al-Dukhshum. It would have pleased them if they could have carried the Prophet (peace be upon him) to pray against him so that he would be destroyed. They said, "O Prophet of Allah, his affair is such and such." He said: The Prophet of Allah (peace be upon him) said, "Does he not testify that there is no god but Allah and that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah?" They said, "He only says that with his tongue, and it has no reality in his heart." He said: The Prophet of Allah (peace be upon him) said, "No one testifies that there is no god but Allah and that I am the Messenger of Allah, except that Allah will not cause him to enter the Fire," or he said, "The Fire will not consume him ever." Mu’tamir said: He said, "I heard it from Anas, and he did not narrate it to anyone."
