Hadith 60:1

'Abd al-A'la ibn Hammad narrated to us, Hammad ibn Salamah narrated to us, 'Abd al-Malik Abu Ja'far informed us, from Abu Nadrah, from Sa'd ibn al-Atwal, that a man died and left behind three hundred dirhams and a family. He said: "So I wanted to spend it on his family." The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "Indeed, your brother is detained by his debt, so pay it off on his behalf." So he paid it off on his behalf, then he said: "O Messenger of Allah, I have paid it off on his behalf, except for a woman who claimed two dinars and she has no evidence." The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "Give them to her, for she is truthful."
