Musnad Abu Ya'la al-Mawsili 95:3

Abu Ubaydah ibn Fudayl ibn Iyad narrated to us, Malik ibn Sa'ir narrated to us, al-Sari ibn Ismail narrated to us, from al-Sha'bi, from Wabisa ibn Ma'bad, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) turned away while a man was praying behind the rows. He said: "O you who are praying alone, would you not have joined the row, so you would have entered with them, or pulled a man toward you?" If the place is narrow for you, repeat your prayer, for there is no prayer for you.
