Musnad Abu Ya'la al-Mawsili 28:1

Abu Khaythama narrated to us, Waki' narrated to us, al-A'mash narrated to us, from Zayd ibn Wahb, from 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Hasana al-Juhani, who said: We went on a military expedition with the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace), and we descended upon a land with many dabb (lizards). We caught them, and the cooking pots were boiling with them. The Prophet (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) said: "What is this?" We said: "Dabb that we caught." He said: "A nation from the Children of Israel was transformed, and I fear that these might be them." So he ordered us, and we overturned them, even though we were hungry.
