Musnad Ahmad 415:2

Abdullah ibn Ahmad said: Abu al-Fadl al-Marwazi narrated to us, he said: Ibn Abi Uways narrated to me, he said: And Husayn ibn Abdullah ibn Damirah narrated to me, from Amr ibn Yahya al-Mazini, from his grandfather Abu Hasan, that the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, "used to dislike secret marriage until a tambourine is beaten, and it is said: We have come to you, we have come to you, so greet us, we will greet you."
