Musnad Ahmad 92:1

Ibrahim ibn Ishaq narrated to us, Hatim ibn Isma'il al-Madani narrated to us, he said: Abdullah ibn Muhammad ibn Abi Yahya narrated to us, from his father, from Ibn Abi Hadrad al-Aslami, that a Jew had a claim of four dirhams against him, so he sought help against him. He said: "O Muhammad, this man owes me four dirhams, and he has overcome me regarding them." He said: "Give him his due." He said: "By the One who sent you with the truth, I do not have the ability to pay them." He said: "Give him his due." He said: "By the One in whose hand is my soul, I do not have the ability to pay them. I have informed him that you are sending us to Khaybar, and I hope that we will gain some spoils, so I will return and pay him." He said: "Give him his due." It was said that when the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said something three times, he was not argued with. So Ibn Abi Hadrad went out with him to the market, and he had a turban on his head, and he was wearing a cloak (burdah) as a lower garment. He removed the turban from his head and wrapped it around his waist, and he removed the cloak and said: "Buy this cloak from me." He sold it to him for the four dirhams. An old woman passed by and said: "What is the matter with you, O companion of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him?" He informed her, so she said: "Take this," and she threw a cloak she had upon him.
