Narrated Abu Jubayrah ibn al-Dahhak: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) came to us, and we were naming our children with names that were given during the Jahiliyyah (pre-Islamic era). He said: "Call them by the names of the Prophets, and the most beloved of names to Allah are Abdullah and Abd al-Rahman, and the most truthful of them are Harith and Hammam, and the ugliest of them are Harb and Murrah."
