Musnad Ahmad 168:3

Rawh narrated to us, he said: Ibn Jurayj narrated to us, he said: Ibn Shihab informed me that al-Husayn ibn al-Sa’ib ibn Abi Lubabah informed that Abu Lubabah ibn ‘Abd al-Mundhir, when Allah accepted his repentance, said: "O Messenger of Allah, indeed part of my repentance is that I abandon the house of my people and dwell with you, and that I divest myself of my wealth as charity for Allah and His Messenger." The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "One-third is sufficient for you."
