Hadith of Abu Rimthah (RA) from the Prophet (SAW)
Hadith 29:3
Yunus narrated to us, Hammad—meaning Ibn Salamah—narrated to us, from Abd al-Malik ibn Umayr, Iyad ibn Laqit narrated to us, from Abu Rimthah, who said: I came to the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, and with him were people from Rabi'ah disputing over blood (a murder case). He said: "The upper hand is the best. [Give to] your mother, your father, your sister, your brother, then your nearest, then your nearest." He said: Then he looked and said: "Who is this with you, O Abu Rimthah?" I said: "My son." He said: "As for him, he does not commit a crime against you, and you do not commit a crime against him." And he mentioned the story of the ring.
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
