Hadith 852:2
Muhammad ibn Ja'far narrated to us, Shu'bah narrated to us, from Abu Shamir al-Dab'i, who said: I heard 'A'idh ibn 'Amr forbidding the *duba'* (gourd), the *hantam* (green glazed jar), the *muzaffat* (pitch-coated vessel), and the *naqir* (hollowed-out log). I said to him: "From the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace?" He said: "Yes."
حدثنا محمد بن جعفر، حدثنا شعبة، عن أبي شمر الضبعي، قال: سمعت عائذ بن عمرو، " ينهى عن الدباء، والحنتم، والمزفت، والنقير "، فقلت له: عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم؟ فقال: " نعم "
