Hadith 302:1
Rawh narrated to us, he said: Sa’id and ‘Abd al-Wahhab narrated to us, they said: Sa’id informed us, from Qatadah, from al-Hasan, from al-Aswad ibn Sari’, that the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) sent a military expedition on the day of Hunayn. Rawh said: So they came to a tribe from the tribes of the Arabs, and he mentioned the hadith. He said: "By the One in Whose hand is my soul, there is no soul that is born except upon the *fitrah* (natural disposition), until its tongue expresses it."
حدثنا روح، قال: حدثنا سعيد، وعبد الوهاب قال: أخبرنا سعيد، عن قتادة، عن الحسن، عن الأسود بن سريع، أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم بعث سرية يوم حنين، قال روح: فأتوا حيا من أحياء العرب، فذكر الحديث، قال: " والذي نفسي بيده، ما من نسمة تولد إلا على الفطرة حتى يعرب عنها لسانها "
