Hadith 800:2
'Abd al-Rahman ibn Mahdi narrated to us, Abu al-Ashhab narrated to us, 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Tarafah narrated to us, from his grandfather 'Arfajah ibn As'ad, that his nose was injured on the day of al-Kulab during the Jahiliyyah (pre-Islamic period). Then he mentioned the rest of the hadith, similar to it.
حدثنا عبد الرحمن بن مهدي، حدثنا أبو الأشهب، حدثنا عبد الرحمن بن طرفة، عن جده عرفجة بن أسعد أنه أصيب أنفه يوم الكلاب في الجاهلية، فذكر الحديث مثله
