Musnad Ahmad 1119:1

Waki’ narrated to us, he said: An-Nahhas ibn Qahm Abu al-Khattab narrated to us, from Shaddad Abu ‘Ammar ash-Shami, who said: ‘Awf ibn Malik said: "O plague, take me to you." They said: "Did you not hear the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, say: 'The life of a Muslim is better for him'?" He said: "Yes, but I fear six things: the leadership of the foolish, the selling of judgment, the abundance of police, the severing of kinship ties, a generation that will grow up taking the Quran as musical instruments, and the shedding of blood."
