Hadith 1112:0
Narrated to us by Yahya ibn Sa’id, from Hisham, who said: Narrated to us my father, from Damirah ibn Sa’d, who said: I came to the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and I said: "O Messenger of Allah, I have a soul that is inclined toward goodness and I have a soul that is inclined toward evil." He said: "O Damirah, do you not see the dog? If you incite it, it barks, and if you leave it, it sits."
