Hadith 164:0
Narrated to us by Yahya ibn Sa’id, from Shu’bah, who said: Narrated to us Simak, who said: I heard Qabisah ibn Hulb narrating from his father, Hulb, who said: I came to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) while he was sitting. He said: "Sit." So I sat down. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) was sitting in a state of humility. I said: O Messenger of Allah, I have come to you seeking knowledge, so teach me what Allah has taught you. He said: "Whoever among you wishes to know what his status is with Allah, let him look at what status he gives Allah in his own heart. For indeed, Allah gives the servant a status equal to the status that the servant gives Allah in his heart."
