Musnad Ahmad 63:1

'Affan narrated to us, Hammad ibn Salamah narrated to us, 'Ikrimah ibn Khalid al-Makhzumi informed us, from his father, or from his paternal uncle, from his grandfather: That the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said during the expedition of Tabuk: "If the plague occurs in a land and you are in it, then do not depart from it. And if it occurs and you are not in it, then do not advance toward it."
