Musnad Ahmad 63:2

'Abd al-Samad narrated to us, Hammad—meaning Ibn Salamah—narrated to us, from 'Ikrimah—meaning Ibn Khalid—from his father, or from his paternal uncle, from his grandfather, that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said during the expedition of Tabuk: "If the plague is in a land and you are in it, then do not depart from it. And if it is in a land and you are not in it, then do not approach it."
