Hadith 1282:1
I read to Abd al-Rahman ibn Mahdi: Malik, from Yahya ibn Sa'id, from Amrah bint Abd al-Rahman ibn Sa'd ibn Zurarah al-Ansariyyah, that she informed him from Habibah bint Sahl al-Ansariyyah, who said: She was married to Thabit ibn Qays ibn Shammas. The Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, went out for the morning prayer and found Habibah bint Sahl at his door in the darkness before dawn. The Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: "Who is this?" She said: "I am Habibah bint Sahl." The Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: "What is the matter with you?" She said: "Neither I nor Thabit ibn Qays [can live together]." When Thabit came, the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said to him: "This is Habibah bint Sahl; she has mentioned what Allah willed for her to mention." Habibah said: "O Messenger of Allah, everything he gave me is with me." The Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said to Thabit: "Take it from her." So he took it from her, and she sat with her family.
قرأت على عبد الرحمن بن مهدي: مالك، عن يحيى بن سعيد، عن عمرة بنت عبد الرحمن بن سعد بن زرارة الأنصارية، أنها أخبرته عن حبيبة بنت سهل الأنصارية قالت : إنها كانت تحت ثابت بن قيس بن شماس وأن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم خرج إلى الصبح فوجد حبيبة بنت سهل على بابه بالغلس فقال النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم: " من هذه؟ " قالت: أنا حبيبة بنت سهل فقال صلى الله عليه وسلم: " ما لك؟ " قالت: لا أنا ولا ثابت بن قيس لزوجها فلما جاء ثابت قال له النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم: " هذه حبيبة بنت سهل قد ذكرت ما شاء الله أن تذكر " قالت حبيبة: يا رسول الله، كل ما أعطاني عندي فقال النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم لثابت: " خذ منها فأخذ منها " وجلست في أهلها . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
