Hadith 86:1
Sufyan ibn 'Uyaynah narrated to us, from al-Zuhri, from Ibn Abi Khuzamah, from his father, who said: I said: "O Messenger of Allah" — and Sufyan said once: "I asked the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him" — "Do you see medicines that we treat ourselves with, incantations (ruqyah) that we seek healing through, and precautions that we take; do they avert anything of the decree of Allah, Blessed and Exalted is He?" He said: "They are from the decree of Allah, Blessed and Exalted is He."
حدثنا سفيان بن عيينة، عن الزهري، عن ابن أبي خزامة، عن أبيه، قال: قلت: يا رسول الله - وقال سفيان مرة: سألت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم - أرأيت دواء نتداوى به، ورقى نسترقي بها، وتقى نتقيها، أترد من قدر الله تبارك وتعالى شيئا؟ قال: " إنها من قدر الله تبارك وتعالى "
