Hadith 86:2
'Ali ibn 'Ayyash narrated to us, Baqiyyah ibn al-Walid narrated to us, from al-Zubaydi Muhammad ibn al-Walid, from al-Zuhri, from Ibn Abi Khuzamah, one of the Banu al-Harith, from his father, that he came to the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and said: "O Messenger of Allah, have you seen medicines that we treat ourselves with, and incantations (ruqyah) that we seek healing through, and precautions that we take—does that avert anything of the decree of Allah?" He said: So the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: "That is from the decree of Allah, Blessed and Exalted is He."
حدثنا علي بن عياش، حدثنا بقية بن الوليد، عن الزبيدي محمد بن الوليد عن الزهري، عن ابن أبي خزامة، أحد بني الحارث، عن أبيه، أنه أتى رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم فقال: يا رسول الله، أرأيت دواء نتداوى به، ورقى نسترقي بها، وتقى نتقيها، هل يرد ذلك من قدر الله شيئا؟ قال: فقال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " ذلك من قدر الله تبارك وتعالى "
