Hadith 650:2
'Abd al-Samad narrated to us, he said: Hammam narrated to us, Qatadah narrated to us, from Yazid ibn 'Abd Allah, from 'Iyad ibn Himar, that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Regarding two people who insult one another, what they say is upon the one who initiates it, as long as the oppressed one does not transgress. And the two who insult one another are two devils who lie to each other and disparage one another."
حدثنا عبد الصمد، قال: حدثنا همام، حدثنا قتادة، عن يزيد بن عبد الله، عن عياض بن حمار، أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، قال: " المستبان ما قالا على البادئ ما لم يعتد المظلوم، والمستبان شيطانان يتكاذبان ويتهاتران "
